Princess for a Day

7-year-old Jordan West plans to take 15 girls and their foster moms to Orlando, Florida to visit the Disney Castle and become a Princess for a Day!

While many elementary school girls spend their summers swimming & playing with dolls, Jordan keeps herself busy by doing something that would greatly benefit others. With the help of her mother, Jordan organized a "Party with a Purpose” last year where she invited over two dozen foster girls a.k.a. "princesses" to spend the day at a kiddie spa. The girls received manicures, pedicures, makeovers, lunch, gifts, and princess dresses to walk the red carpet. Each princess also received one of Jordan's handmade Princess bags.  Jordan started making bags for foster girls so that they could get rid of the garbage bags that had previously been using to transport their clothes & belongings in. "These princesses" even arrived in style in a limo.

Since Jordan's first Princess Party was such a HUGE success, she was invited by the White House to come and host a Princess Party in Washington, DC for 115 girls living in foster care in October 2016. Now Jordan is hoping to create that same type of "magical" experience for foster girls by taking them on the "Ultimate Princess Experience" at the Disney castle. The girls will get to spend the day at the park and go to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique to be pampered like a princess. They will receive a princess dress, wand, tiara and have their hair, nails and make-up done.  The girls will also partake in photo shoot with the Disney Princesses themselves.
