Rochester Schools Modernization Project

Rochester Schools Modernization Program (RSMP) is the largest public capital works project in the history of Rochester with a $1.4 billion dollar budget. LaLew PR has provided media relations for the Rochester Schools Modernization Program since 2017. These services include pitching, press releases, official statements, coordination of media interviews, and reputation management.

Proactive preparation, research and fast, clear communication was key to successfully managing the program's reputation. LáLew built credibility through transparency and responsiveness to stakeholders’ concerns in a complex time where word of mouth travels faster than ever dreamed of.

LáLew’s dynamic, compelling press releases and media alerts generated buzz and excitement about new additions to the schools such as athletic facilities, state-of-the-art classrooms, art studios, science labs, enlarged bus loops, and playgrounds. By working with RSMP to secure press coverage for their ribbon-cutting ceremonies, LáLew PR ensured the community was not only aware of these improvements but could also celebrate them alongside the schools. These projects have benefited students and faculty alike, providing them with better facilities and resources for learning and physical education.

Ms. Lewis has demonstrated a consistent professionalism for the Program that is characterized by prompt responsiveness, thorough coverage and tasteful creativity. Whenever I have placed media outlet recruitment (television, radio or print) in her charge through press releases, our website, our social media platforms or direct personal contact, she has always delivered in a timely and effective manner.
