Over 400 people gathered at Causewave Community Partners' celebration to honor their 2023 Wavemakers. Jessica Lewis, founder of LáLew Public Relations, was honored with the prestigious Spark Award. This award is presented for the outstanding achievements of individuals under 40 who are setting an example by igniting change.

Jessica was honored with the Spark Award for her unwavering commitment to tackling pressing issues in the Rochester community. “We are spearheading a campaign to tell positive stories, pitching and packaging narratives that highlight the accomplishments of Black and brown community members in arts, education, entertainment, entrepreneurship, and grassroots organizing.” Her work isn't just about fixing immediate issues; it's about setting the stage for long-term success of the community.

The Wavemaker Celebration is more than just your average awards ceremony; it's a symbol of the strength in teamwork and honoring those who are creating change. With her contributions lighting the way for unity and sustainable development, Jessica stood out against this backdrop of community spirit.

While we honor Jessica and LáLew Public Relations, this is also a call to action for all aspiring changemakers. It demonstrates that dedication, passion, and community spirit can bring about major influence. As we applaud Jessica, we are reminded that each of us can produce waves of change and growth in our own communities.
